David French

David French joined LMU’s Department of Management in 2013. He primarily teaches international business classes. David has worked as an analyst and on portfolio management within the investment banking sector and as a business strategist for more than 25 years. His work in international business and finance has taken him to work on projects in Asia, Latin America, Africa, Australia and Europe.

His experience has ranged from government economic development projects in Brazil, Malaysia and China to Economic Analysis for the Kingdom of Thailand. Private sector work has ranged from small businesses expanding to the multinational expansion of Red Bull.

David actively manages his consulting practice and also teaches at UCLA where he does a significant amount of custom programs and lectures. David was recently awarded the Distinguished Instructor Award at UCLA.

Currently David serves as the Chief Strategy Officer for Genius Fund, a vertically integrated investment fund based bringing his expertise to the Cannabis and CBD industry.
